What should I do with this plant?

Should I cut it and put it in water? Or soil? Or leave it cause of the roots? I don't know what to do with it cause its mostly dead.

I’d start again. Trim anything that is decent and put it in water. New roots, new soil, fresh start. Mine was the same!
