My Samurai Dwarf has not grown any new leaves since I got...
It was given to me as a birthday present nearly two years ago. I put it under a grow light then my bearded dragon decided to take a bite out of it when she jumped on the table. The poor plant doesnβt look to healthy, is dehydrated no matter what I do, and has a lot of injuries on the leaves. Any help with getting it to grow?

To start with I'd move it to a bigger pot, preferably one with drainage holes. Looks like it's outgrown its pot, so it's stuck at its current size. You won't know for sure till you pull it out and look at the roots. Find a pot that's about 2 inches bigger than its current pot and use a well-draining soil mix, then only water when the soil is completely dry. Eventually it'll start to put out some new growth!
@Fireplace also, these plants can get pretty banged up and still be completely fine (so your bearded dragon is off the hook! π)
Hi, Allie! Do you happen to have a picture of it when you got it?
These are VERY slow growers and the newest leaf is actually the one that's circled. Mine is still in a small pot and I've had it for about four years. I've only repotted it once in that time.
In the picture, your plant looks a little dry; you can see a wrinkle forming on one of the leaves. I'd give it a nice long soak in some water so it plumps up.

Also, when I got it I thought I was some random succulent. I took care of it as I would with a regular succulent and it started to hate life. I was told that it was an agave later then someone thought it was a snake plant (it does look like one) and finally, by some miracle, someone told me it was a samurai.
