Hi @coldzone do you have a humidity source near by? I know they like humidity, try misting occasionally.
@coldzone can you add a photo to the comments here?

I have a rather large Boston fern and when the tips dry out there can be a few things to check:
β€’is it in the path of a draft or heat vent?
β€’is it getting enough water?
β€’is the light it’s getting too strong.

I don’t find I need to mist my ferns unless it’s in path where it gets a heat vent blowing on it or people walking past it touching it. But if the new fiddleheads are dying are their pests involved?
No heating vents close, next to a window is all. I am only watering it once a week and this app said every 5 days, 1.5 cups. Maybe the bathroom would be a better choice? Could the cold from a window be bad? We have snow here and it's in the upper teens some nights so windows can be cold. I don't think I was watering it enoughπŸ€”
I also just got a sprayer to mist it and I have a humidifier I could use, but would the bathroom do the same with our daily showers?
@coldzone I would remove that fake moss stuff on top to make sure it doesn’t harbor any moisture or garbage the plant doesn’t need. I water my fern every 5 days. Mine is in a 14 inch pot and I water it about 3-4 cups.
Ok. I'll give your suggestion a try and add a humidifier. Thanks.
