Mold? What should I do?

I repotted this plant fairly recently. The part with mold on it is part of the old soil. I tried to fertilize with coffee grounds, so maybe that’s where the mold came from? I won’t do that again. I bought Plant Juice fertilizer. Any suggestions on what to do about the mold? Should I just wait longer before watering it?

A mist of water and baking soda, will kill off molds.

H2o2 can be used as well if properly diluted, but it is more damaging to the soil ecology and potentially the plant.( use if absolutely nessisary)

Concentration:
1 table spoon of baking soda per gallon of water.

Or

H2o2:
Seedlings 1:10 ratio

Established plants 1:4 ratio

After that just monitor your soil ph and adjust your watering down until you find the schedule that the plant enjoys
Mold is a sign of overwatering and the soil staying wet for too long. When you say old soil, does that mean you reused soil when you repotted? Not the best idea for a number of reasons. And what kind of soil did you use? It looks very peat heavy, which is moisture retaining.
@SleekMothorchid got the answer here . I’ve had the same issue with coffee and learned you gotta mix it into the soil really well to avoid this . I’ve since stopped doing it because there are so many other ways to fertilize.
@ILoveMyPlants thank you Deb! Noted. Yeah I like Plant Juice. It makes it easy to fertilize.
@SleekMothorchid thank you for providing ratios. I’ll try the baking soda. Thanks Joe.
@SleekMothorchid the baking soda spray worked like a charm! The mold is gone. Thank you so much for your help!
@CasualOnionweed glad I could help now just keep letting that soil dry out really good between waterings and you'll be a-ok
