Should these be pruned?

Pachira aquatica are often treated as bonsai-esque and are thus trimmed and trained accordingly. However, theΒ best time to do so is during its active growing season, which is typically in the spring and summer.Β Pruning helps to encourage fuller growth, control the plant's size, and remove any damaged or yellowing foliage.
If you do decide, I would prune the bottom older leaves. I actually didn’t want to prune my money tree but as soon as I did that, it grew even bigger with new leaves. Plus it was shaped awkwardly so I decided to prune the bottom lol Yours looks healthy and pretty so if you don’t, it’s totally fine.
You may consider braiding the upper branches to start to train them. Just put a Velcro strap around them. Here’s a tutorial. https://youtu.be/BHZweFcQFgw?si=3DinmDhaZAYT7CK7. I recently braided mine and it’s super happy and less bushy.
