Help with Peter Parker

I’ve had issues since forever with this #SpiderPlant and I really want to do well! He was struggling in my classroom and it continues now that he’s at home for the summer. Browning leaf tips. No rot, he’s in a really chunky mix, watered from bottom with filtered water and #happyhappyhouseplants when he’s dry (about once every week). What suggestions do you have? I’ll cut off the brown and keep monitoring progress to see if it continues. I hate it when I struggle with the β€œeasy” plants! πŸŒ±β˜€οΈβ€οΈ
3ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago

Mine do that when I bring them inside for the winter. They miss the sunlight they are in when outside for the summer. You might try them outside. Mine actually thrive in bright sunlight.
These guys like to be a bit root bound so if it continues to decline, maybe it needs a smaller pot! My sister has one and it THRIVES in this little corner under her grow light!!
@RealSimpleMama Sarah I do not have this plant but in reading about its care it says the browning tips are possible from salts in Tap water and not rain or distilled water. I see you use this so I am not sure. Wonder if maybe type soil?! πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
Thank you for best answer. My spider plants did not fare well inside this last winter. But now that they have been out a couple weeks, they are sprouting new leaves and are beginning to look healthier. I’m impressed how quickly they turn around when in the sun @RealSimpleMama i
