Dark spots

#Dracaena has some dark spots on her leaves. What’s the cause and what should I do with them?
0ft to light, direct
4” pot without drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@NewBeans87 I have had issues like this with inconsistent watering. How is the soil around the roots? Do you check how dry it is when watering? With nondraining pots it can more easily get overwatered. I would also consider what you are watering with, since tap water can be harsh on plants. But it could also be direct sunlight.
@NewBeans87 I agree with @Kodaksplants , you definitely want to move it to a pot with drainage holes. They not only help the soil dry out faster between waterings, but they allow excess fertilizer and mineral buildup from tap water to be flushed out. Also, without drainage holes, it's harder to tell when a plant is outgrowing its pot since you can't see the roots.
Thank you! Should I cut the brown spots off?
@NewBeans87 yes! I would cut it if not too much, greg suggests it as well and has more info here: https://greg.app/brown-spots-on-dracaena-lemon-lime-leaves/#:~:text=βœ‚%EF%B8%8F%20Pruning%20and%20Maintenance,sterilized%20scissors%20to%20prevent%20spread.
