I canβt tell if Iβm over watering it or under watering it...
0ft to light, indirect
4β pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
Omg i commented this same thing on another one of yours but please for the love of whatever god you believe in, get a pot with drainage omgggggg
Hey, @StandupBogbean - I'm glad you found Greg! this plant looks likes it's in a pot with drainage. When folks add a plant but don't fill out the detailed info, the app defaults to "no drainage" because the answer hasn't been selected. (:
@StandupBogbean it does have drainage I just forgot to fill that part out
@Dakotabale I'd look into bottom watering! It helps against over and underwatering π
@Marthamaywho92 okayy
@Dakotabale it's so easy to over or under do the water....I've lost many a plant to it myself!
@Dakotabale Ah, finding that watering sweet spot can be a bit tricky sometimes, can't it? I've been there with my own plants. When I started using a spray bottle, I noticed similar things happening. Here's what I learned:
Corkscrew Willows like consistent moisture, but they don't want to feel like they're swimming. Using a spray bottle might not be giving them enough water at the root level, especially if they're thirsty. I ended up switching back to regular watering, making sure the soil was damp but not soggy, and that seemed to do the trick for me.
If you're not sure whether you're overwatering or underwatering, here's a little trick: stick your finger about an inch into the soil. If it feels dry, it's time to water; if it's still a bit moist, you can hold off for a bit.
Remember, every plant is different, so it might take a bit of trial and error to figure out what works best for your Corkscrew Willow. Don't be too hard on yourself β plants can be a bit finicky, but with a bit of patience and observation, you'll find that watering rhythm that keeps your Willow happy and flourishing! πΏπ
