Hemingway got 6 babies. Should I separate the babies in smaller pots or should I keep the family together? If I have to separate, when is the best time to do it?

I would wait, feed the mother and pups. Separate them when they reach half of mothers size to be sure they survive. ☺
And be careful, that pot don't have drainage.
