Bush's BAKED Beans
Are the leaves on a monstera adansonii supposed to be shiny? And also what causes the leaves then cracked or tear on their own? #monstera #monsteramob #monsteramonday #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #planttherapy #plantmafia #plantsmademedoit #greggang

The leaves on mine aren’t shiny naturally, I have had some leaves tear because I seem to have a Monstera issue where the leaves like to grow inside the fenestrations
@Mrgncrchb ok cool. I was just wondering bc it has new growth I just wanted the leaves to stop ripping bc it's seriously bumming me out
@KrunchyWrap I’ve had that happen too, they seem really fragile and thin before they harden off
If your leaves are cracking/splitting, it could be a problem with low humidity. I spray mine once or twice a week to avoid cracking of leaves 🌿😊
@kscape thank you 😊 @Mrgncrch so the leaves harden as the plant matures or they get Bigger?
In my experience they come in small and get bigger and then harden rather then coming in full size like some plants like the Monstera Deliciosa
I don’t know what it is, but it feels like the leaves follow me…
I don't like the way it's looking at me like thatπŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
@hoipolloimike probably bc they are following you... @WickedValkyrie he's probably thinking the same about you towards him. πŸ˜†
@KrunchyWrap don’t be discouraged I have had leaves come in that were cracked or torn. It happens. I use a humidifier as well, but I don’t use it as often as I should. @kscape is correct on spraying them once or twice a week.
@KikiGoldblatt thank you 😊
