Burroβs tail on the left fell out of the pot, suggestions...
I got these little guys at the beginning of January but the one on the left fell out of the pot when I was checking to see if the soil was dry! It just happened again, both times I noticed it didnβt have much of a root system. The bottom stem seems more woody than the one on the right, which hasnβt fallen out. Is there a way I can help it? Should I propagate it or wait and see if itβll grow? I donβt want her to keep falling out π
Thanks in advance! πͺ΄β€οΈ #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #BurrosTail #Succulents

The best way to get them to stay put in the soil is to remove a few rows of the lower-most leaves so more stem is exposed, then you can stick it back in the soil a little bit deeper.
On another note...it looks like the tip of your burro's tail might have powdery mildew, which is causing it to rot. Both plants look like they have it, but especially the one on the left.

@AmberMallow and @stephonicle thank you so much for the suggestions! I will try that.
As for the powdery mildew, I was wondering about that, it did look pretty fuzzy and then the leaves shrivel up π do you have any suggestions on how to treat that?

Treat powdery mildew with water and baking soda. Spritz it on. You can also remove the damaged area. Burro tails will eventually bud off in another direction. If it has a weak root system, just leave its stem buried in the soil even if itβs sticking straight up. Thereβs no need to water them so much if they are trying to grow roots. A spritz of water is good enough until they show progress and this should help keep that mildew at bay.
@AnthuriumQueen thanks for the suggestion! Iβve treated it and taken off some of the affected leaves, and put the stem deeper in the soil
@Succulent-momma itβs such a cute pot, I love it haha that makes sense though!
