She’s sad :( unsure why

So my bird’s nest fern is mad at me and I’m not sure why. The tips of the fronds are browning and I haven’t seen any new growth since I got it. I’ve been following instructions (this is the first plant I’ve ever had that requires this much attention so that goes to show you I generally only have plants that are basically self sufficient like ZZs). Help?
2ft to light, indirect
6” pot with drainage

Hey! This sounds weird but… sniff the soil. Is it rotting? My guess would be that the soil is old and/or too dense. You could probably use the same pot, looks like it has drainage holes… but depending on where you originally got it, the soil they used may have been pretty crappy and so now the plant is suffering. I usually make my own mix, give me a second and I will add some links here to other posts that I have done in the past. I would think it should be a pretty quick fix! Also remember that leaves do usually not heal, so if it were me, I would trim off those brown ends and that way I can monitor the plant progress. 🌱☀️❤️
Ferns tend to need decent humidity, and not too much light. Those would be my two guesses for the brown tips. You could try more sty it periodically and possibly move it a bit away from the window. ☀️ I have a heck of a time with ferns myself!
@RealSimpleMama thank you so much 🥰
