6” pot without drainage
Last watered 4 months ago
That's probably mold. The pot needs drainage holes. Use a pot the same size as its current pot, but with holes in the bottom. Use a homemade succulent soil mix (find a recipe online) and watch a video on how to repot succulents. You can try to wipe the mold off, and if it doesn't wipe off, just pick those leaves off.
It would also like more light. Put it in a south-facing window
@SimpleSucc perfect thank you so much.
They are right about the drainage holes, soil, and light. I just wanted to let you know that's not a lipstick echeveria. Judging from the card picture, I'd say it's either an echeveria 'Dark Moon' or 'Black Prince'. And @SimpleSucc is right about taking the damaged leaves off, if it was mine I would. Best of luck with your plant baby! (Light green is lipstick echeveria and dark green/purplish is echeveria 'Dark Moon')
@FairyFly thank you so much!
@ZippyDodder for sure. Just want to help and see everyone's oasis thrive!!
