Nanny, in general Calathea’s are pet friendly. However is just a good practice to keep plants out of reach from your pup! If your pup did eat some of it, no emergency vet visit needed! P. S. I LOVE the colors in your plant! Dax is beautiful!
@theloveofplants Thanks! She’s never attempted to eat any of them. But she started poking them with her nose after I let my fiddle leaf fig get to dry. When I watered it she jumped off the couch and started poking at it. The leaves started spreading away from the stem. Maybe she heard it sighπŸ˜‹. I’m a country girl and it’s true on a hot humid night you can hear the corn grow!πŸ˜‚
@FestalVelvetash You are welcome! πŸ€— Dogs are just so curious about everything. Especially new plants! Dogs can hear things we cannot hear! So maybe she did hear it sign!πŸͺ΄ I love that β€œhear the corn grow!” Makes sense to me! ☺️
My calathea is in the bathroom for extra humidity
