#Philodendron parents, anyone experienced with ๐Ÿ“strawberry shakes? I just got my first one today and wondering if she'll get enough light in this spot. This is a West facing window with a sheer curtain. Thanks๐Ÿฅฐ

To be honest Iโ€™d put it right in front of the window next to the other plant. Its leaves are quite large, which will only last if itโ€™s receiving adequate light otherwise it will probably shed them. If the window is west facing and youโ€™re in KY then light levels are 1/3 what they are in summer.

If you want to put it not right next to a window, Iโ€™d recommend a grow light.

You can always put it somewhere for a week and take pics on Greg with the track progress camera, to compare and see if it looks like itโ€™s trending healthier or not.
It has such big gorgeous leaves Iโ€™m afraid it might be a bit too far from the window, especially this time of the year. Iโ€™d recommend moving it closer to a window and trying that spot during summer. Good luck and congrats on a beauty!
@alex thank you! I will do that๐Ÿ’š
@alex does this look better or should I put it in a closer pocket?
This is a larger, west window with no curtain
Thanks! Appreciate this
