Hi, Shirley. It appears your plant may actually be a Monster Deliciosa! Also, browning can happen from overwatering or lack of drainage causing root rot. have you checked the roots to rule out root rot?
I think it may be a little parched. Check the soil. Prune so there’s no wasted energy being used to keep the dying leaves alive. Water and it’ll probably be ok.

@SuperCowslip i would take the plant out of its pot and check the roots. Gently remove any mushy, grey roots & spray down the remaining roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide.

Repot with a well draining chunky soil. You can add additional perlite and orchid bark to the soil mix to make it more chunky. I hope this helps!
