Any ideas what is going on with this guy?

#Crassula
It has spider mites. I would spray it down really well with water to remove them and then spray it with insecticidal soap. You’ll need to quarantine it from your other plants and repeat the process until they’re gone. They say rubbing alcohol kills them too.
I would repot it as well.
Mornin, Lindsay!

I don't think your plant has spider mites, but it looks like you've got some bugs">#mealybugs suckin on your plant. ):

I would not repot. I would move it further away from the other plants (and keep an eye out on other plants becuase those buggers spread!). I like to use rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle on mealies.

Spray and wipe. Spray and wipe.

You'll want to spray and wipe them away with a qtip every day for a few weeks so you catch them in all their life cycles. The babies are hard to see and and eggs are nearly microscopic. You really notice the mature females becuase they are white and fuzzy and bigger. And ... the males fly. 🫠

If that plant is important to you, care for it daily for two or three weeks. If that plant isn't so important, put it in a zip-baggie and put it out of your mystery... and keep an eye on your other plants.

If I HAD to pick a bug to have on my plants, I'd pick mealies- they are easy to get rid of, in my opinion.
i agree with @sarahsalith ☝️mealy bugs. sara, would you use an undiluted alcohol spray on these guys?
@CalmRedginger i have found that my plants get mealy bugs when they are already weakened by less than ideal conditions, sort of an opportunistic parasite. if you do choose to treat the plant, treat in the shade and only return to sun when fully dry. these jades like lots of full, direct sun and for soil to be completely dry before you water again. they should be in a well-draining succulent soil mixture and in a pot with drainage holes. when you do water, you can water generously and water should drain from below. i have used a dish-detergent/water solution in a spray bottle to treat: 25mL detergent to 500mL water (sorry for metric, something like 5 teaspoons to a pint of water). it dries out the critters. still best to remove the dead ones you can see and treat again after a few days to catch the newly hatched babies. i have not tried alcohol but and doesn't harm the plant. @sarahsalith 's recommendation surely also works.

clean up and toss the dried leaves. i would repot if the soil is not well-draining, but maybe after you get the plant cleaned up. good luck and keep us posted!
