What's going on with the leaves of my fig tree

hi, I noticed brown spots on the top leaves of my tree, anyone know what caused it? #FiddleLeafFig
8ft to light, direct
16” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
This could be a result of inconsistent watering or overwatering. Here’s an article: https://fiddleleaffigplant.com/little-red-or-brown-spots-plaguing-new-growth-on-your-fiddle-leaf-fig-tree-heres-why-and-what-to-do/ hope that helps!
I can’t really see the soil to determine watering, but looks like it could be a little sunburn.

My first fig was on a western window, got too much direct light and started developing sun burn. Early on it looked like that. Moved to an eastern window where it got good morning light and it was fine.

If not, I’d assume overwatering.
@DearPaperwhite the soil is moist but not wet if that makes sense, i've checked some more surface roots and they seem quite dry and pliable. he's on a west facing balcony, and sadly being in a condo i don't have much choice of lights, im gonna pull it back a little and make it get more indirect sunlight and water it less to see how it goes, thank you! :D
@Momof83ans thank you so much, i'll read it asap!! :)
