Do you prefer bottom watering or β€œdrowning” your bear cla...

Where I live now is much hotter than where I used to live. I always bottom watered my plants but I know some people recommend drowning their succulents before putting them back in the sun. This bear claw is kept in indirect sunlight inside with air conditioning. The leaves are firm. Any tips? #BearsPaw #CacClique #BottomWatering #WateringHacks #WateringDay
I'm a drowner. πŸ˜† I soak my little succs well, especially when they are going back outside, but I think you're fine either way. You'll figure out the rhythm with that little plant. It looks incredible! οΏΌ
@sarah10orio thank you
I definitely prefer to bottom water this particular plant because Ive noticed water pools in between the leaves and this can lead to them getting mushy. I bottom water and mine is as happy as can be. All leaves are nice and firm
Teach me your ways @Leafylife 😭 all I want is a healthy bear paw (and technically I'm trying to propogate mine so yes, it'll take time) but omg I'm a struggler when it comes to succulents
@CallisiaRepens succulents definitely aren’t my strong suit either but things make it easier! For starters I would definitely recommend repotting in a stone or terracotta pot and using chunky succulent soil. As long as yours is getting direct light, it should thrive!
