I really don’t understand what’s wrong!
Shinobu has lost just about all her leaves, what do I do?! What’s wrong with her?! @tango #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewPlantMom #PurpleShamrocks #PLANTMAFIA
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 days ago
Purple Shamrocks have bulbs so they just die off eventually. Just ignore her for a couple of weeks and then start watering again. That usually does the trick
@TheGoodWench Thank you! Just watered her today but I’ll leave her alone for now!
My purple shamrock is such a drama queen so I feel this 😂 I agree with @TheGoodWench that does seem to help.
I found an article for you. My nursery guy told me this would happen. It hasn't happened to me yet but I'll probably still freak out.😂
@Nightshade

The species with purple leaves will take less bright areas than its all green leaf cousins. However for a good looking plant you're going to want an area which receives bright light, or even some sun for a few hours a day. Don't overdo the sunshine though, too much sun will damage the leaves.

During the growing season for purple shamrock plants, water whenever the top inch of soil has dried out. When the plant is dormant in the summer, lightly water about every two to three weeks to prevent the soil from drying out completely.
Thank you guys so much! I was so worried about her but now I think she’ll be fine! ♥️
I would love someone to give me a piece of there shamrock plant. I've searched everywhere.
@BeamingWorm I wish I could! We probably live very far away though 😔
Oxalis goes dormant after a long blooming cycle. Just quit watering for a while.
@Witchy_Bs_ Shes currently fine, turns out her soil has just become hydrophobic
