Sunflowers 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I bought these 8 Sunflower plants from someone local on facebook marketplace. He told me to put water bottles around the stalks of the younger green plants to protect them from Chipmunks 🐿. Has anyone heard of this? I googled but found nothing. #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #SunflowerSquad #OutdoorGrowing

I had not heard of that but I would say it is a great idea! I have not had sunflowers for the last 2 years because the squirrels dog up the seeds or bite the stems of the small ones off at the bottom so I am going to tell me husband about this!

@GatherandGrow Cool! Hope it works! It’s only been a few day but so far so good. I have rabbits too but don’t think they could get into to tin. I know the chipmunks and squirrels can! 🤸‍♀️
