What to do?

What do you do when your shingle plant keeps growing past its plank? I have already replaced it once, but I can hardly keep buying planks, lol. This girl is literally climbing the walls! I kinda want to leave it, but is it OK for the plant?
2ft to light, direct
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
If you want it to keep growing upwards I’ve seen people buy these tiny, clear plastic hooks for them to attach to up the wall!
You could get these. Command Medium Wall Hooks, Damage Free Hanging Wall Hooks with Adhesive Strips, No Tools Wall Hooks for Hanging Christmas Decorations, 7 Clear Wall Hooks and 12 Command Strips https://a.co/d/gelFnoF
I’d either… extend its plank again if you want it taller πŸ˜… or start to chop and propagate the tip if you don’t care for it to get taller. ☺️
Personally, I just chopped it off. At one point, I had it pinned back down the other side.

Once I chopped it and planted it and put it beside the original on the same plank. That plant really requires work to look good. οΏΌ

When I get to a point in my plant room, I'm planning on hanging some burlap on the wall from the top of the wall all the way to the table and letting some plants just grow up the burlap. I'm just not mentally ready for that commitment yet. πŸ˜†
I think I'll look into the hooks. I can imagine feeding the new growth in different directions. How fun! Thanks for the ideas!
@wolfwoman oh! What about around that mirror?! How cool would that be? And it's right there!
