asparagus fern dead?

my asparagus fern was healthy and beautifully green, in a south-east facing window, direct-bright indirect sunlight, i went on vacation for exactly a week, and i came to her completely pale yellow, and looking dead, i just wanna make sure she is dead. what could be the reason? too much sunlight?
please help <33

@McFlurry This is the I only could think of.overwatering is by far the most common cause of yellow leaves on your fern. The asparagus fern is thirstier than many other plants, so it can be easy to accidentally overcompensate and give it more than it needs if you're not checking the soil. I think she's on her way of becoming dead dead. But try to increase the humidity around your fern by placing a tray of water near the plant, misting the leaves regularly, or using a humidifier.

I wouldn’t be so fast to judge if it’s dead or not. They are super resilient and can easily grow back even if all of their stems are cut off. Give it some time, normalize watering, remove dry stems and you might get it back in shape
