Ummmmm...??? πŸ˜³πŸ˜‚
I found this lil guy while tending to my plants this morning. I am both mortified at what this means for my baby rubber plant's soil and delighted to see this lil bebe mushroom. πŸ˜³πŸ„πŸ₯°
Can this be a symbiotic relationship?? If not, I'm totally rehoming the smol friend into his own tiny pot! πŸ˜‚ #babyrubberplant #newgrowth (πŸ˜‰) #mushrooooooms #hobbitsoul #plantaddict #plantsmakepeoplehappy

These little mushrooms grow in good healthy soil πŸ™‚ they don't cause any problems, they pop up then die pretty quickly πŸ„ πŸ˜‰
Yeah not so sure about that, Greg...unless there are more mushroom people I have yet to meet... πŸ˜†πŸ˜…
Depends on the Mushie! Main concern would be what the spores do to your own body vs the soil of the plant. I have a couple mushies in my plants from to time to time. You can need to check your roots for any rot - just in case since mushies do eat decaying organic matter! They are common if you use soil with a lot of organic fertilizer in it :) hope this was helpful. Lovely plants!
@Howellml I stand corrected, I have met another mushroom person! πŸ˜‚πŸ™Œ
Thank you! I will be sure to do just that! Maybe Google can analyze the species from a picture. πŸ€”
@Sassylimey oh good!!! I'm so relieved to hear that!!! 😌
And also a little sad that it'll be dying. πŸ˜…
@ArtisteRose yeah they are kinda cute lol..I grow my veggies in straw bales and when those little mushrooms pop up I know my bales are conditioned and ready for planting πŸ„πŸŒ±πŸŒ±πŸ₯°
Nothing wrong with mushies in a pot! It can indicate moist soil, so keep an eye on overwatering. Mushrooms are great for soil in general ❀️ and yes they can talk to plants! Pretty awesome
@ArtisteRose mushrooms have a tendency grow in mine at times too.

Mushrooms growing in your house plants aren't necessarily a bad thing, but they could be a sign of overwatering, really fertile soil, or just that somewhere along the line some spores got into your plant. They won't harm your plant.
Could be from the plant being too moist or overwatering. I pluck them out just in case and extend my watering days
Omg i want to grow mushrooms so bad im such a mushroom mommy
Youre very lucky could u donate it hahahah
I just had a few mushrooms pop up in my bird of paradise pot this weekend. Plucked it out but apparently it just means your soil is healthy. 😊
