Ummmmm...??? π³π
I found this lil guy while tending to my plants this morning. I am both mortified at what this means for my baby rubber plant's soil and delighted to see this lil bebe mushroom. π³ππ₯°
Can this be a symbiotic relationship?? If not, I'm totally rehoming the smol friend into his own tiny pot! π #babyrubberplant #newgrowth (π) #mushrooooooms #hobbitsoul #plantaddict #plantsmakepeoplehappy

Depends on the Mushie! Main concern would be what the spores do to your own body vs the soil of the plant. I have a couple mushies in my plants from to time to time. You can need to check your roots for any rot - just in case since mushies do eat decaying organic matter! They are common if you use soil with a lot of organic fertilizer in it :) hope this was helpful. Lovely plants!
@Howellml I stand corrected, I have met another mushroom person! ππ
Thank you! I will be sure to do just that! Maybe Google can analyze the species from a picture. π€

@ArtisteRose yeah they are kinda cute lol..I grow my veggies in straw bales and when those little mushrooms pop up I know my bales are conditioned and ready for planting ππ±π±π₯°
@ArtisteRose mushrooms have a tendency grow in mine at times too.
Mushrooms growing in your house plants aren't necessarily a bad thing, but they could be a sign of overwatering, really fertile soil, or just that somewhere along the line some spores got into your plant. They won't harm your plant.
