Grow light newbie ๐Ÿ’ก

I got this grow light for free and Iโ€™m trying to revive this jelly bean plant but Iโ€™m wondering if the set up seems okay? I have some kind of kalanchoe, aloe, a black bean plant, and dragon tree nearby. Do I leave it on for about 8 hours/day? Thank you for any advice!! ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒธ #GrowLights

Iโ€™m not familiar with the needs of a dragon tree, but the kalanchoe and aloe will love the light! The main thing is to make sure the plants are close enough to the light, which most of them seem to be. If the dragon tree likes low-to-medium light itโ€™s probably okay where it is, but if it likes more, I would move it closer. Grow lights do their best work 12-24 inches from the plants, Iโ€™ve found. Hereโ€™s an article for general tips:
Oh and one more thingโ€”the bean plant (I think thatโ€™s the tall one?) may not see the benefits because the light isnโ€™t hitting the leaves, as itโ€™s taller than the light. If you donโ€™t have any good windows and you need an extra grow light, just let me know! It looks like weโ€™re neighbors and I have a huge multi-armed grow light Iโ€™m not using. No sense in it going to waste! I just decided I liked the smaller ones better lol.
@BabeVila oh my goodness ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ’š We have 0 space left here ๐Ÿ˜… but thank you SO much thatโ€™s SO nice!!! Also really appreciate your response and the article! ๐Ÿ˜Š I will definitely move the bean back to the windowsill I was kind of experimenting ๐Ÿ˜‚
Of course! Lmk if you change your mind! Luck and happiness to you and your planties ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿชด
