It is common for Echeveria leaves to fall off after the plant blooms, because blooming takes a lot of energy from the plant, and the older, lower leaves are often sacrificed to provide nutrients for the flowers and seeds. However, there are other possible causes of leaf drop, such as overwatering, underwatering, or not enough sun. Some people reccomend fertilizing during tge blooming season so the plant will have enough energy to bloom and not drop as many leaves.
