ZZ Plant Is Losing It’s Color

I noticed a few leaves turning yellow and brown when I was away last week. I made sure she was watered and the soil was pretty dry when I did so. The leaves are still turning as you can see from this photo. Does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this?

@MotherPincherry it may seem counter intuitive after you have done everything a normal plant would want and need, but most likely it was watered before it was ready for more water. I swear almost every time I have watered my zz I have had a yellow leaf stalk. And a bunch of helpful people here on Greg told me that I was overwatering. Also people have said to water even less in the winter. (Edited to say that I have finally changed my watering habits with these plants) I checked my watering an and it has been 2 months since I’ve watered my 3 zz plants. And they look fine! I am quite shocked myself that they really don’t need water very often.
I’ll wait until the new year to check then. The soil was bone dry but I had a suspicion that the winter time may mean this plant is dormant.
