I don't want to mess your plant up but in my opinion, I would consider removing the chewed up leaves and put it in some dirt, or your preference of growing method. By next year I bet she's a beauty. Just a thought.

@GuruSplitrock21 I thought of propagating, too, but the one on the bottom is it’s root and im so curious if this is hens and chicks succulent😭

A leaf can have roots too
Put in soil and water, lots of sun , in 2 weeks u will see the result
