Hi Dominic, when you say watering him regularly, do you check his soil before watering again (see diagram)?
I don’t, but I also have pebbles at the bottom for drainage.
I will water him soon, so I will try what you suggested and see how it goes.
@UnerringMizuna Hi Dominic, just be careful with watering as a majority of issue is overwatering or underwatering and either can cause issues. So use the Greg app watering schedule as a guide only as checking the soil is the better way of checking if needs watering.
Just so you know, either over/underwatering and poor soil can cause droopy Lamb's Ear leaves. So changing the light, humidity, and watering can help your plant. Watering can depend on season as well. All the best with it.
Thanks!
Hi there. I’m kind of doing this blind because the app has some bugs right now, so I can’t open your plant profile. But, if it’s truly a lamb’s ear, keeping it as a houseplant is a new one for me. It’s usually an outdoor landscape plant for me. Two things. Lamb’s Ear needs tons of bright light. Tons. Like 8hrs tons. Second, it’s really susceptible to root rot indoors. It needs to almost completely dry out between watering. And if it’s not getting enough light, it won’t dry out sufficiently. I hope that helps a bit.
Thanks. I will those suggestions l.
