Calathea leaves browning?

My lovely white fusion calathea started losing all the green color, it just faded from the very vibrant way it started, and then leaves started yellowing/browning. I thought it might be getting sunburned so I moved it farther but that didn’t help. On the other hand there’s a new leaf that just popped up so it’s not totally dead. I know calatheas are a whole thing but I have quite a few and generally do very well with them. Thoughts?
3ft to light, direct
4” pot with drainage

Caltheas are so tough and very dramatic but once you find them the right spot, they are wonderful plants! It’s possible that your plant is getting too much sun. They actually like to have partial sun (not full sun). A north-facing window works well. How much are you watering this plant baby?
I second that, Calathea’s are serious drama plants lol. Mine loves humidity so she is close to my humidifier that I run at least once a day. If her leaves were crispy I’d have to also agree that she might have gotten too much sun. If you haven’t already check her roots…make sure the roots are good and not mushy or anything. Oh! Once I switched mine to a personal mix of indoor potting soil, orchid bark, perlite and some peat moss she did sooo much better. They don’t like constantly wet roots but also don’t like to be too dry so a well draining soil is what ya need.
@QuietMira23 @ImKindaABigDill I think it is too much sun, it’s been very summery all of a sudden. Do you think there’s any chance of a comeback? Watering every 5-7 days.
@SharonH it depends… I’d cut off the dead leaves, water, and repot (careful not to break up the roots) and move her to a different spot. I also agree that they like humidity. Mine is near my kitchen sink so it gets some steam/water nearby when I’m doing dishes.
