How is Greg Related American Plant Exchange? These snake plants were tossed in a box, bent to fit, and shipped. I was in tears and then found a card proudly claiming affiliation with Greg! I think they'll make it - but that was plant torture. What gives?

Sorry you had such a rough experience! The mail is always tricky for plants and our partners do the best they can. Sometimes things still arrive less than perfect (or were packed that way in this case 😬)

I would contact American Plant Exchange support with the pictures of your plants and the circumstances of their packing > support@americanplantexchange.com

We partner with them to help their customers with water reminders once the plant is received.
American Plant exchange is how I found out about Greg, I’ve only had good experiences with them.
@RJG Thank you for the contact information. I will send them the photos in the hope this doesn't happen again.

I did manage to save the plants, minus a few leaves. They truly are tough for I am not all that skilled. πŸ˜‰

If you say this company is reputable, I'm willing to give them another chance.

@Paradox definitely let me know what you hear back! Even if you saved the plants they should know about the packing they did for you and your feelings about it. Just like with how #GregFeedback helps us, they can't improve without feedback!
@MamaFairy Thanks for your reply. I'll do as Drew suggested and contact the company with the photos. I was so upset unboxing them I was shaking and crying... But you and Drew think this is a good company overall so I'll share the incident with them and go from there.

@Paradox I get that, one time UPS lost my $60 plant and they handled it great. Got a new one sent out at no cost and to my surprise UPS delivered both on the same day πŸ˜† one was half dead (it’d been lost for almost 2 weeks) but still alive and still recovering…. But it was free so I’m good lol
@rjg and @MamaFairy, I am thrilled to be able to share that, after I contacted American Plant Exchange, they really came through. Their rep was awesome. She sent me two new plants, the right way.

They aren't as tall as the plants that were bent in that box, but they were staked, wrapped, and sent in individual tall boxes, as they deserve!

Now, I get to update my review on Amazon - which pleases me to no end. I don't like writing negative reviews and usually don't, but this was so upsetting...

I am delighted that the faith you guys professed in this company has been proven. What, when it comes to retail, I take nothing on faith! πŸ˜‰

Thanks again for supporting me as I investigated. You had me really rooting for this company! 😌😊😁
