Am I ever going to see red hearts again??

Full disclosure I’m never sure I even have the plant identified correctly

I pretty much gotta scorch my leaves some on that red one. The burgandy seams to take it better. But ive had the red for 3 years and was severely under lighting it for 2. Think its adapted to a lower light

I like them in aroid mix a some direct sun to get the modified leaves aka blooms . Fertilize regularly too.

@TheConservator that first one, yes. That’s what it looked liked for awhile, until I neglected it possibly beyond the point of return, but I can’t give up now! I’ll try your tips. Thanks so much!

@TheConservator now I’m thinking about it, because yes it had pests and I dealt with that; yes I overwatered and then ignored it; yes it was 90% brown and dead. But, even at its best I never figured out what kind of sun it likes. Do you have a suggestion for me to try during resuscitation?
