Baby Toes welfare check

Hi everyone! Just wanted to gather some opinions on the state of my baby toes.
He’s been growing pretty nicely as of late but I’ve noticed some of the toes have started to flop over and shrivel up. Is this normal? Or can I can doing something different? For context I had repotted him in a cactus mix because it was all I had at the time. I’m just now realizing the pot he’s in isn’t the best at draining, so it could be retaining too much water. But, the soil feels dry and I’ve only watered him once (when I repotted about 2 weeks ago)
Let me know what y’all think! #HappyPlants #BabyToes #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #NewPlantMom

Give him less water and more light and heat exposure. It looks like he’s got some stem rot. Your soil looks rich in organic matter and like it retains moisture. Opt for something more gritty and loose so water runs through it quickly.
The soil needs to be dry 2" below the surface. If it's only dry on top, and you water your Baby Toes, then you're watering too often. It looks like there are the early signs of overwatering: translucent leaves, brown yellow colour on stems.

Cactus mix is perfect for drainage (and for your plant). I have a cactus mix for my succulents, and the soil looks similar.
