Good morning #greggang Hope everyones Sunday is off to a ...

I bought my #Diffenbachia #sherlockf rom a big box store sometime last year and shortly after potting it, it started on a steady decline. I tried everything i could to save it, but it was just too far gone. The roots we're terribly rotted. I think the first pot was too big and caused me to over water. You can chexk out his photos to see his decline. I recently bought 2 more, #sage and #orwell(think I'm gonna change his name) and I was hoping for some advice so they can survive. Any help will be awesome. Thanks.
3ft to light, indirect
8” pot without drainage

I had this same thing happen to me with mine. Pot it in a clear plastic pot so you can see the roots, make sure you have drainage to prevent rot. A good tropical mix should work for soil, then water only when you can insert a stick and it comes out completely dry. Mine is in an east facing window loving life now. Edit: cut the rotted roots off and spray roots with 3% hydrogen peroxide to prevent bacteria. You can do it! πŸ’š
She's completely gone. The roots were mushy half way up the stalk and all the leaves died off. I had to throw it out
@WarrantedMelon πŸ₯ΊπŸ’” sorry to hear that.
