@KeyPaurocotylis Hey Tanya , I looked at the card on your snake plant and your gonna want to get it in a pot that drains. This alone could be doing it . Proper drainage is essential with the snake plant. They store a lot of water in root ball . By looking at the picture I can tell you the leaf thatβs turning in is a sure sign of to much water . I lost a huge one due to overwatering .
I believe you are watering to often they donβt like or need a lot of water. Let them get completely dry before watering throughly and in a good draining soil and pot.
I would suggest a terracotta pot with drainage hole. Also, would recommend a cactus and succulent soil instead of regular soil. They need well draining soil. Also, check soil for moisture before watering. You can use a wooden chopstick or bamboo skewer to stick down in the pot. The skewers are pretty cheap at the grocery store.
Few thoughts, that haven't been mentioned as much.
snake plants like light. People say they don't need it and while true, they will not thrive in low light areas. From what it looks like, it's getting almost none in its current position.
2, it seem you have it in the toilet which may be generating a too humid environment. They like dry environments.
So no light, humidity and the overwater/lack of drainage mentioned are all the factors that will kill snake plants.
