I just got this plant at the beginning of April from Lowe...

8ft to light, indirect

22β pot with drainage

Last watered 6 days ago
From what I know about Alocasia, it seems they thrive in well draining, chunky soil. Self-watering pots tease us into thinking they're good for all plants, but unfortunately it looks like it's not a good match with Alocasia π If it were mine, I'd get it repotted into a pot with good drainage and use a very coarse mix of peat/orchid bark/perlite/coir/etc. (Remove the yellow leaf to avoid encouraging rot.) definitely let it dry out fairly well between watering, and consider a humid spot. Hope this helps!
That is really good to know! I will get it repotted. Do I cut the yellow leaf off to remove it? I definitely wonβt be getting anymore of the self watering pots lol thank you both for the help!! @DrGreen @trndylttlethngs
