what’s wrong with my plant?

I just got this peppermint plant about a week ago. i’ve given it everything it needs  and it’s wilting. I looked online and it told me to water it, and it might be cold, so I watered it and moved it away from the window and he’s still dropping like this :(

I would move it to bright indirect light, a lot of people think plants need water the most, learning from this community, it's really sun they need! Best wishes 😊
