Hmm... It kinda looks like old root matter hun? I have a couple of plants that don't seem to know their roots should be UNDER the soil! Lol

On the other hand it cold just be fungus... In which case a liberal sprinkle of ground cinnamon works wonders! Lol πŸ˜‚

When did you first notice then? Have the just "appeared" or have they been gradually increasing for a wee while? Xx
Hey Sammy πŸ‘‹πŸ˜ could you post a pic of the strings you mean? I can't tell from the plant card pic sorry! Xxx
@JenniB81 hope u can see them. I zoomed in as much as possible
TY @JenniB81 I didn’t know cinnamon works on fungus. As does diluted hydrogen peroxide. I learn so much from our fellow β€œGregarious” plant friends!
@JenniB81 I noticed 3-4 days ago. Took it out if it’s darker moist spot and brought it outside for several hours. Now it has a lamp over it and seems happier.
Great news Sammy! πŸ₯° Yeah I have cinnamon and peroxide in the house at all times long, as well as neem oil, sticky traps, a jar of honey (especially for my plants! Lol, it helps cuttings to root without using hormone gel) about a MILLION pots of different sizes, bags and bags of soil mix and additions... No wonder my husband gets annoyed falling over it all! Hahaha 🀣🀣 xxx
