Is this #NewGrowth ?!
I noticed this little guy in my #Dracaena βs pot this morning! Iβm new to plant care, does anyone know what it is? A part of the plant, or something else growing from the soil maybe?
2ft to light, direct

That doesn't look like new growth from that plant. Usually snake plants will push out "pups" which will be in close proximity to the main/mother plant. That growth looks like either a weed or something that might have been included in the potting soil mix, or accidentally dropped in the pot. If you keep it outside, there is no telling what the insects and possibly birds have, flown by and pooped or dropped into your pot! LOL! As long as it's not bothering the main plant. allow it to grow another 2"- 4" inches if you're interested in seeing what it is, and then if you want to keep it, dig it up and place it in it's own pot. β‘
@LittleSongbird Thank you for the info! And much appreciated! Also, i did not know about the new classification, Iβll make sure to tag it properly in the future π!
@JenobiBlu3 Ohh ok thank you for the info! Since itβs pretty far from the main plant, i kind of want to wait and see how much it grows, its just so cute! Iβll post an update once it gets bigger. What a fun surprise!
