Soil
The Snake Plant prefers loose and well drainable, sandy soil. A good cactus mix would be ideal for this water-retaining plant. Soggy or damp soil is a big no-no as, like most other plants, it prefers not to have its roots in soaked soil for too long

@KikiGoldblatt I absolutely LOVE this plant. I was given some offshoots in December and they have grown so much (im going into winter in aus now and they’re still growing!) Just like all snake plants they kinda thrive on neglect haha. Mine did grow a lot faster when I placed it in direct sunlight but it was originally in shade for a few months and was also happy it just grew a bit slower and thinner. I water around once a month maybe longer, wait until the bone dry, then drench. Such a great plant, I can wait for the summer, I’m going to keep it in my brightest window and see how fast it grows 🥰 I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Mine are happy in plain succulent cactus soil (edit)
