You have to do it dependent on your night temperature.
First cut off 1/3 of her growth. You want her focusing her energy into root growth and energy stores through winter.
You want her exposed to low 40's high 30's degrees first for a 3-7 days. That will help her start dormancy. She needs dormancy or else she won't flower next year.
Keep her in a sheltered location out of direct sun and wind. This will help her transition to indoors go smoothly.
So, 3-7 days of 40 degree nights and then bring her in. You do not want her in a hard frost. So when temps are dropping to freezing it's time for her to be fully indoors.
Make the transition slow
While temps are dropping to the 40 degree make start transitioning her indoors slowly during the day.
Day 1&2 2 hours indoors
Day 3&4 4 hours indoors
Etc.
Slow and steady the process of transitioning indoors should take about a week.
When indoors cool location by a window will work it's cold where you are.
Limit water
No fertilizer
