Hi, my plant is losing leaves and new growth branches are...

2ft to light, indirect
8” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 months ago
What ph level does it likes?
Could it be that - as per the description in the profile - it is near an A/C?
It lights to be watered constantly and also enjoys being misted… not sure about the ph level or bonsai soil. How long has it been since the repotting? Could be trauma too
Maybe over watering
Hey, if it's close to a north facing window then it's likely not getting enough light. Ficus ginseng need bright indirect light at minimum, partial sun if possible.
@infi hi, i have a little growth light on top and it was fine for over the winter. Until a month ago when i repotted with new soil.
@Imissmydeaddog , i was thinking about that as well. I will try to wait for the soil to dry before watering again. My water schedule has always been twice a week.
@Gustavo , i had put a cover on the ac vent to move the air at a different direction not sure if that still an issue. It was repotted 1 month ago.
@Ybtronic what kind of soil did you repot it in?
They store water in the big ol trucks
Yeah, ficus ginseng like well-draining soil. My local nursery recommended that I use cacti/succulent soil when repotting since that's what they use. I followed their advice and my ficus ginseng has been loving it.
@Ybtronic I would recommend moving the plant altogether. To the best of my knowledge A/C and plants do not go well together. Maybe that is the issue?
@Gustavo thanks for advise
@infi i use organic Bonsai soil .. brand Perfect Plants from Amazon.
