How do I handle the little gnats ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ

#Echeveria
6โ€ pot with drainage
Last watered 2 weeks ago
Gnats on Echeveria usually mean overwatering. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, use well-draining soil, and add a top dressing like sand. For immediate relief, use sticky traps for adult gnats and treat soil with diluted hydrogen peroxide (1 part 3% H2O2 to 4 parts water) or Mosquito Bits to kill larvae. Prevention involves proper watering and gritty soil to stop these fungus gnats from breeding in moist soil.
Thank you! The plant was a gift, and so were the gnats ๐Ÿ˜†. Soil is dry, have the sticky tabs up.. Will try the hydrogen peroxide mixture tomorrow!
