We have a string of pearls plant that we are watering per...

20ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 month ago
That happened to me as well. The watering schedule was too frequently. See those little flowers? Your plant was doing great before being overwatered. I had to start mine all over. Good rinsing and repotting. I damaged it quite a bit so if anyone else has a better option, I’d like to know it as well. Mine is recovering very slowly.
@WiseNerveplant try spraying this plant off with water to remove the pests. When it dries spray with neem oil or rubbing alcohol to kill any remaining bugs. You will need to keep spraying 1-2xs per week for a couple weeks to completely eliminate pests.

As far as the watering schedule on Greg, I think of it more as a watering reminder. You don’t have to water it when the app says it’s time. You just need to check the plant. If it’s still wet just snooze the reminder. Most of the strings of things like to dry out between watering but not for too long. So if it dries out and the pot feel light then it’s time to water.

As far as lighting these plants need to get light from above, either in a window or with a grow light, just make sure light shines down on to the top of the plant. πŸͺ΄
Hi! From the photo it looks like it’s molding. I’d douse it with a bit of 3% hydrogen peroxide and get it closer to light. The light is more important on the top of the soil, rather than the long strands. I hope this helps! πŸŒ±β˜€οΈβ€οΈ
