Ivy has think stems, and sheds leaves, although new growth is coming at some of the tips.

Hmm ivy is normally very resilient and quick to grow. They love lots of direct sunshine and regular waterings but drainage is important. Maybe try moving her to a sunny place and the shedding may stop. 😊💚
