Why are the leaves turning black

#Sedum
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 4 days ago
Without a photo, I can only guess. Black leaves are leaves that have rotted due to overwatering, specifically the soil staying damp for too long. Succulents are especially susceptible to rot. They're desert plants, so their soil needs to completely dry out between waterings. They also need lots of direct sunlight, so three feet from an east-facing window is nowhere near enough. I'd recommend moving it to a south or west-facing window (AM sun is the weakest, PM sun is the strongest). Succulents also do best in terracotta pots, which are porous and allow the soil to dry out faster. If you can share photos of the black leaves or one showing the entire plant and soil, I can give you more specific feedback and advice for what to do 😊
I still need to re pot it I just have it sitting in the glass bowl for draining here is a photo of the leaves and I have been trying to get it more sunlight thank you for your feedback 🙂
I have never really had a green thumb so any input is appreciated thank you
