They need way more light than appears to be in that corner. Echeveria are highlight plants. If they don't get it, they stretch toward the "sun" and aren't as healthy. You could try again at a brighter spot. Just behead it and set it on soil after it's calloused over. It will grow new roots and, with more light, will grow more full and less "stretchy"
I don't know how strong your lights are or the conditions of your window, but it just looks like it needs way more. I have mine directly (6 inches) under the strongest grow lights I have for at least 12 hours, sometimes more. And still I have one sedevaria that gets a long neck, if it's not placed directly in that spot closest to the light.
Beheading will only make sense if you find it some more light, I think.
But if you do, you can use the leaves as well to propagate.
Oh and btw, in the future it helps to address the people in the comments directly. We don't get notifications, if we didn't write the original post ourselves, so we might not see your answers. So e.g. an @MusicalRedmint would help.

@MusicalRedmint I chopped right below the top and then cut the stem in half I kept the part with roots in the original pot with two leaves. Also placed all the leaves on soil for propagation. Adding it to my grow light shelf and crossing my fingers it will help! Thank you! It was given to me when my son was born and I have a plant for each of my children that are all thriving this is just a plant Iโve never been able to keep alive.
I would maybe. But only after it has healed. But I would say, even better would be to maybe write another post with the #succulentsquad tag and the picture for people with more experience with succs to answer. I bet more people will chime in.
@MusicalRedmint thank you so much for your help!
