Am I underwatering my succulents?

They're in pots with drainage holes, and the soil is really well draining (all the water is out in less than a minute). I water around every 16-17 days, and I give them a lot of water when I do. I think this is right, but I'm just making sure. #succulentsquad #succulentlove #succulents

Yep, you're doing everything right. A little tip though: observe the leaves, if a little wrinkly then it's time to water. They're drought resistant, so don't be afraid to wait.
Looks like you’re doing a great job! I have the same questions about mine all but one is growing and seems happy. My climate is quite humid though, so it seems that’s a factor as well. If mine were indoors I might water every 14 days due to my air conditioning removing some of the humidity. The best indicator are the leaves. If they feel plump it’s probably fine if they feel wrinkled or leathery they need water more often. Use a water meter along with their leaf signs. Greg has been spot on with mine.
@Pineapplemom Usually, the leaves start to wrinkle a little bit a few days before I water. I may start watering a couple of days earlier. Also, what are you holding in your profile pic? Is it a squirrel?
@SimpleSucc Chi a 7 year old non-releasable gray squirrel. I rehab and release squirrels that are abandoned from their dreys, ill, or injured. ðŸŋïļðŸ˜Š
@Pineapplemom cute! It kind of reminds me of one of my gerbils to be honest
@SimpleSucc your gerbil is adorable!! What a sweetheart!
@SimpleSucc The first 3 pics are a southern flying squirrel: their bellies fluoresce purple pink when a uv light is shined on them! The rest are eastern gray squirrels.
@Pineapplemom those are too cute!!
Very interesting. TY 👍 @Pineapplemom
