Fertilizer?
Iβve noticed that my pothos plants growth have been slowing down despite it being the growing season and having ample light (12hrs with grow light). Any good recommendations for fertilizer and how to use it? #PothosPack

@strawberry5020 THIS IS THE BEST PART!!!!! Oh my goodness! Youβve got a healthy plant, light and water πΏβ¨ and itβs my fav a pothosπ€©ππ«Ά so this fertilizer part is up to you!! The #GregGang has all sorts of reccomendations, reasons and hacks when it comes to plant feedings! You can keep it simple, or amp it up with a 3 part solution like @TheConservator uses for βHydroponic Plantsβ I would say the best starters are: 1-1-1 from your local nursery / Home Depot or Loweβs (this could be miracle grow or anything else on the shelf). Thatβll provide consistent growth and you wonβt fear over fertilization! You can safely feed every watering all year round too! I will say itβs slower paced growth, but consistent and healthy (this is what I started with) to amp it up I followed the sage advice of @SuperbRaspfern & @JenniferNoel and got Supper Thrive and Liquidirt! Superthrive has 2 kinds - Regular Gold which is 0-0.5-0 NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, & Potassium the 3 ingredients crucial to plant growth). The Superthrive foliage pro has higher levels of NPK although I forget what it is now :) but it is geared toward leaf growth!! I can add some pictures below π for the Amped up versions: TBS or Probiotics, they add root hormones and root mycchoraze (the lil fibers and tiny hairs from the roots), propagation drops (more root hormones and stimulants), OR the 3 part hydroponic fertilizer you can use! Iβm not well versed on the last one, but I know Sonny, or @TheConservator is! :) Best of luck! Let me know if you have any questions :))
@strawberry5020 and who would I be without some growth examples !!! First part is Jan when I was feeding 1-1-1 consistently for 5 months. Solid growth, but nothing crazy! Fast forward to now, I have a leggy girl (thrips, mealies, fungus has attacked the plant community here) but sheβs long and growing like crazy! Or my other pothos that have tripled in size :) like this marble or snow idk hahah :))
Id just find any low strength houseplant or all purpose fertilizer. You dont realky need to mess with that 3 part for most plants tbh. If your not an addict like most my thread followers ππ€·ββοΈor @Prentyce its just not worth it. Fox fatm gro big is a good option or shultz houseplant organic is also good. The main thing is not getting to high npk numbers really anything below 7-7-7is fine.
Wash off the leaves. Only times this happened to me is it had spider mites. But you can't see them but after a bit can feel a stickiness in the leaves. But if i were you I would wash off the leaves to be safe. It can't hurt..repeat twice a week for two weeks at least cuz they can hide and miss one or they can fall in the soil. If you see growth after then you know you had them. It's been my experience..
