As far as ID, it's really hard to tell in that photo. Do you by chance have another pic you could share that shows more of the plant?

As for the leaves turning brown, several things could be the issue. If the tips are brown and crispy, that's usually underwatering. Has the soil been allowed to stay completely dried out between waterings?

However, if stems feel soft near the base of the plant and the soil has stayed consistently wet, the brown spots could be due to overwatering. If that's the case, the first step is pulling it out of its pot and checking the roots for any signs of rot.

I can give you a better, clearer answer if you can post some additional pics showing the entire plant ๐Ÿ˜Š
@stephonicle here a clear picture
So it does appear to be a rubber tree, also called a rubber fig (Ficus elastica).

A few questions:
โ€ข Is it tied to a support stake?
โ€ข Is there a drainage hole on the bottom of that planter?

One thing I can say for sure is the pot is far too big, even though it's only partially filled with soil. You want a pot that's no more than a few inches bigger than the root ball, and you want the soil level to come up to just an inch or two below the rim.

As for the brown leaves, they look pretty crispy in your photo, so I'm leaning toward a combo of under watering + insufficient light. The insufficient light is probably why it grew so tall despite its stem being too thin and frail to support it (it was trying to reach up toward a light source). These like lots of very bright indirect light, so the best spot for it is either in an east-facing window (morning sun is gentler), or a few feet from a south or west facing window (far enough that the harsh afternoon sun won't directly hit its leaves). The underwatering issue is an easy fix โ€” get on a more consistent watering schedule. You don't want the soil to completely dry out, but you also don't want it sitting in soggy soil. The best way to tell when it's ready is to check the soil with either with a moisture meter or your finger. Only water when the top few inches of soil feel dry.
@stephonicle yes there is a one drainage hole. The pot size: length is 70 cm and width 35cm . Is it big for the pant ?
@stephonicle I apologize for asking so many questions, but I'm just starting out with planting. ๐Ÿ˜“
